How to clean your Beyblade Parts

Cleaning your Beyblade Parts is a process that is essential and needs to be done at least once a month in order for your Beyblade to stay shiny and fresh.

Beyblades are assembled from different parts that are either plastic or metal. Cleaning different materials takes different techniques, for instance you shouldn’t clean plastic with Metal polish, and you shouldn’t clean metal with water as it can get corrosive.

HOW TO CLEAN PLASTIC PARTS

You will need:

Cleaning plastic parts is easy, cheap and doesn’t take that long really. All you need to do is disassemble your Beyblade and take the plastic Beyblade Parts to the bathroom and then clean them one by one on the sink with water and soap. Make sure that you clean the area around the icon with a sponge and not directly the icon as it can come off. Make sure that you dry them off with either a cloth or a hairdryer.

HOW TO CLEAN METAL PARTS

You will need:

Toothpaste (Just regular old tooth paste, non-whitening)Metal polish or Silver polish

Cleaning metal Beyblade Parts is a bit different than cleaning plastic parts. There are two ways you can clean the metal parts. With toothpaste or metal/silver polish. Polish works a bit better but toothpaste is just as good if you don’t have any polish at home. Firstly, disassemble your Beyblade (You have probably already done that in the previous step) and take all the metal parts to a table. Secondly, put down a newspaper so the table won’t get any polish or toothpaste on it.

First way:
Either take an old toothbrush that you don’t use anymore, put some toothpaste on and brush the metal Beyblade Parts or put a bit of toothpaste on the metal Bebylade Parts themselves and take a soft cloth and just start spreading the toothpaste with the cloth. Do this until you can no longer see the toothpaste on the Beyblade Parts (That is why it’s important that you don’t use a lot of it, jut a pea size for each part) and when finished, clean your soft cloth with water and let it dry.
Second way:
Another way to clean the metal Beyblade Parts is by using polish. You mush have the metal Beyblade Parts on a newspaper or it could drip on the table. If you have a polish that is in form of a spray, spray each part so that it looks covered and that there is no polish dripping from it. There may be a description on the polish itself how much of it should you use on smaller parts. If the polish you have is in a tube or a tin you can use an old toothbrush that you don’t use anymore (No one must ever brush their teeth with that toothbrush or they could have serious poisoning) or a soft old cloth (The Same goes for the cloth. Make sure that you use a cloth that will only be used for applying polish). Instead of a cloth you could also use cotton pads (This is recommended). Apply the polish to the cloth or a cotton pad then start cleaning the metal Beyblade Parts with it.

When done, leave the parts to dry (The exact time they need to dry should be on the polish itself), throw away the cotton pad or save the toothbrush or cloth in a place where you keep your tools and old cloths (Probably a workshop ).
